Anthony Lemons served nearly 18 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.  No forensic evidence ties him to the murder of Eric Sims in Cleveland, Ohio.  His accuser delayed reporting the crime for many months and wiped prints from the apartment as she left.  On July 20, 2017, The 8th District Court of Appeals ruled as a matter of law, that Anthony Lemons is a wrongfully imprisoned individual. The Court remanded the case to the trial court for entry of that Order.  Mr. Lemons has lost his freedom for the middle of his entire life.  Next step will be a complaint in the Court of Claims to seek compensation for the years of freedom the state has taken away.  Mr. lemons is represented by Al Gerhardstein and co-counsel David Malik, Sara Gedeon, and Kevin Spellacy all of Cleveland.
